Wowwwww would be an understatement for how I spent my spring break. It was an amazingly twisted and turned roller coaster ride!
Sun to Sun (7th to 14th) was my trip. The first two days was too dreamy to be real! but as always dreams shatter once we wake up so did the excitement but it was fun! :-) God bless - All iZZ well at the end of the show. The third day I was hanging out with my good old friends in a pretty good mall in NJ. I did some shopping which I always enjoyed (of course I was saving for this!) Movies and Food(Coldstone Mint Strawberry mmmmmm cant beat that) the fourth day I was the explorer of NY city! Yayyyyyy I fell in love with the city right away. It felt like I belonged there! but hold.... end of the day I wanted to spend time with family and kids and eat home made food! what was that! NY style not even remotely! but I am a kind of mix so :-) end of the NY day was again a surprise! simplicity is so beautiful! was it simplicity or mystery? that was the question which is left unanswered. But that really dint bother me because I was reminded of one of the Rajnikanth's dialogues !!!:-) (if you know what I am talking about) Reached Stamford safe and sound. Next morning was a people day. I met my family after a long long time. I have never seen my cousin's kids and here I am overwhelmed with joy and love for them. Too bad that I could not take the gifts and chocolates I wanted to give them but hotha hai/.// They sure will get surprises from this Pinni/Atta :-) All of the kids were AMAZING wow... I see the generation gap but they are outstanding. I love them to death. I happen to meet the Mayor of Stamford Mr Pavia for the swearing in of my cousin as the Fire Commissioner for the city of Stamford. That was interesting and inspiring. Politics always got a piece of my mind and here is my first encounter with a person inside. Finally my last two days were so unorganized and hapazard, it was fun because everything was ok at the end of the day. Floods and no power in CT and roads blocked in NY and trains canceled to NJ - too much happening. I had to go directly to EWR to get my flight back. A couple of things that were little disappointing were I couldn't see Hasini and did not have enough time with Sind. Well, that calls for another trip just for friends :-)
Thanks to all my lovely people for the amazing time I had and I promise that I will keep bugging everyone as I get chances to do so :-)

Intentionality and Charlie!!
I am so excited that I will be meeting Mr Greg Mortenson this weekend!!! :-)
I never dream t that I would read so many books and feel excited about meeting the authors! Wow... Some academic endeavors enthrall me. Even during my MBA I had some very memorable awe inspiring assignments that changed quite a bit of my persona... Here I am with another promising encounter. I wish to explore the horizons of what I can learn out of this one.
I always was fascinated about eccentric people - the people who change the world around them, the people who make a difference, the people who don't agree with the statuesque. I can relate to them personally? or is it that I want to be among them? I dont know and to be frank I don't care. I only want to learn and live my dreams. I am contented by being a humble admirer to all the people I am reading about and am learning from. My good god its such a deep ocean, the more I read the more I have to read and the more I discover, I discover that I have a lot more to discover!
Is it not relevant if we speak about intentionality and persistence when you really want to do something? My 708 class is all about intentionality! I love the class and though the other two are a pain in the butt, this one class triggers my thought process to an extent that I am able to peacefully handle the other two monsters. And this guy Charlie... is amazing! I know he is kind of out of the crowd but sometimes he intrigue me about a lot of things. The only issue I am desperate to resolve is why am I not able to hold my thoughts... they multiply, aggrandize and pester me until I make a move in their direction.
Now, thanks to Charlie(I would prefer to address this man like this more than Dr....... coz of one simple reason that I can relate to what he speak in the true sense, making him more of a friend than a scary professor dictating terms) he is helping me through the course in several different ways to take the direction of ideas in a practical way.
Thats about it so far!

Warren Buffet's .....
There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity.
Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:
1. He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!
2. He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.
3. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha, that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.
4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.
5. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.
6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis. He has given his CEO's only two rules.
Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money. Rule number
2: Do not forget rule number 1.
7. He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.
8. Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.
9. Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk. His advice to young people : "Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself and Remember:
A. Money doesn't create man but it is the man who created money.
B. Live your life as simple as you are.
C. Don't do what others say, just listen to them, but do what makes you feel good.
D. Don't go on brand name; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable.
E. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on things that you really
need.
F. After all it's your life, then why give others the chance to rule your life." "No
one can make you feel inferior without your permission,
remember they are no better. "
Isn't #9 worth giving a try? sure it is for me.
Learning from others experience's is a better option than waiting for your own! Think Differently! It sure is going to make a lot of difference to yourself and to the world around you. Its a one liner I read somewhere "Well behaved women never made history" Its not funny, its serious! Why are there some predefined rules or behaviour for either women or men? We are most of the time compelled to think the way people want us to think. Why is it so? I do not want to generalize but I am very sure that most of the people I know have their influences. Not all the decisions are taken by them, they are somebody else's decisions in disguise of our own will.
Whenever I get to the point of " O god, nobody I know have ever done anything like this, what will I answer to the questions by them, will I be looked at differently and will I be treated the same" I flinch. But then only dead fish go with the flow!!! So did I many a time infact 80% of the time either to please somebody or with a clause of "what if".
After more than 20 years of my life I realised the 80-20 rule. 80% of what we do is of 20% value or worth and only 20% of what we do is worth 80%. It certainly is true in my case. Working upon this made a hell lot of difference!
We are what we think! and do have your signature on it! dont always borrow thoughts! Create your unique identity coz........... just one very simple reason...... you are worth it!
Explore yourself, who know you might be someone the world will remember till the end of times.

Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw
One of the greatest patriot... Now is no more.
I pay my sincere condolences to this outstanding man.
He was reason for the greatest military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. We need many such daring army men in our army, who can take decisions and make those the reasons of triumph for all the years to come. A true story of success, triumph and inspiration.
May your soul rest in peace.
